The expedition of 1867, under the direction of Hoffman, completed the survey begun in 1866 to map the High Sierra region near
Yosemite Valley. Four views attributed to W. Harris, and 24 views by C.E. Watkins from the 1866 season, were published by
the Geological Survey of California in The Yosemite Book (1868).
